The Paris
(3 episodes)
The team finds themselves aboard the French
luxury ocean liner “The Paris” in 1921. They enjoy an evening of fine food,
dancing and drink. Nothing appears to be out of the ordinary, and they decide
to enjoy the vacation since they have to wait 24-hours before the TARDIS can
re-charge anyway. They awaken in the morning and head to the dining hall for
breakfast and are surprised to find no one there. A few crew members find
them and explain that the majority of the passengers and crew have disappeared.
The only people remaining are the TARDIS crew, two other passengers and four
Paris crew. No trace of the
1200 other passengers or 300 crew can be found. A
search is made to no avail. It is discovered that sometime through the night,
the ship ventured hundreds of miles off course; a feat that is impossible
at the ship’s top speed. It is decided to attempt to head back to France,
but the surviving crew begin to disappear one by one. Eventually two of the
crew show their true form… Zygons. The Zygons capture
the TARDIS crew and bring them underneath the ocean to their derelict ship.
They are planning to add the group to their growing “soup” of human bio-matter
in order to feed their ship and themselves. The TARDIS crew rebel and Stan
is wounded by an energy blast and poisoned during the melee. Woan and Arthur
carry Stan to a transmit pad as the Zygons attempt to save their ship that
was badly damaged during the melee. They arrive back on the Paris
and enter the TARDIS where Stan regenerates and the TARDIS lands in Texas…
