Conquest of the Daleks (8 episodes)
The TARDIS crew lands on a spaceship in the 22nd century. The ship is owned by Captain Aza and her crew of Dalek hunters. They inform Stan that they are following a Dalek fleet. The fleet is apparently on a course for Earth. Captain Aza is secretive about her mission but does show Stan her captive...Davros! The Dalek fleet heads into a temporal conduit and before Aza can follow, they are boarded by a Dalek force. The entire crew are killed except for George, a computer tech, who escapes with Stan and the gang inside the TARDIS. Stan follows the fleet through the conduit and arrives on Earth just before a new Dalek invasion. They barely escape with their lives, travelling ten years into the past. Here they track rogue microwave signals to New Toronto and the estate of Governor Philippe Roncesvalles. Inside the estate, Stan discovers a Black Dalek working with Roncesvalles to send messages to a waiting Dalek fleet. Roncesvalles is apparently the leader of an Illuminati plotting the takeover of Earth. Stan and the others destroy the Black Dalek and sabotage Roncesvalles transmitter. Roncesvalles then demands the release of Davros! It is learned that Davros and Roncesvalles were working together to help Davros regain control of the Daleks. With the invasion thwarted due to their sabotage, Stan takes Davros back to Gallifrey for trial. There they learn that Romana has stepped down as President. Homonculette, who has not yet returned to his own time, takes Davros into custody and executes the criminal without trial. A disgusted Stan leaves Gallifrey. George stays with the group.
