Wanted: The Doctor 50,000 Grotzits

DEAD OR ALIVE

(4 Episodes)

Chant explains to Stan that the Doctor (in his fourth incarnation) has loosed an ancient entity called Jetrel, The Devourer.  The Devourer completely destroys the Entimal System killing billions of people (and destroying a vast area of mineral resources that Gallifrey needs). Stan is to travel to the fourth moon of Entimus Prime and stop the Doctor before he unleashes the entity from an artefact that is on the moon.  The gang arrives on Entimus Prime.  Disguised as military officials, Stan, Thelonius and Alpha steal a moon buggy and drive out to the artefact.  Natasha stays at the science station and meets Harry Sullivan, a companion of the Doctor.  At the artefact, Stan is nearly killed by an energy field as he tries to find a way inside. Meanwhile, Natasha meets the Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith, another of the Doctor’s companions.  The Doctor notices a strange energy buildup coming from the artefact.  He brings Natasha along as they take his TARDIS to the artefact.  Stan and company arrive back at the station, and a very injured Stan takes his TARDIS to the artefact as well.  The Doctor and Natasha enter a central chamber and begin to decipher writings on a raised dias.  The Doctor believes the artefact is on a buildup for detonation, and he is unsure what that will do.  Stan, Alpha and Thelonius arrive.  As Alpha does battle with a sentry robot, Stan, the Doctor, Natasha and Thelonius attempt to shut down the power buildup.  Stan guesses that perhaps they don’t wish to stop the Doctor after all.  Perhaps he failed when trying to shut down the buildup the first time and maybe their aid will prevent the Devourer’s escape.  In the struggle, Thelonius is shot by the sentry robot and triggers a regeneration.  Stan hits the final sequence on the dias, and the buildup stops.  The artefact is discovered to be a gateway to the prison in which Jetrel is held.  Now that it has been shut down, the entity will be forever trapped.  After saying their goodbyes, the Doctor and his companions leave.  Stan and company take Thelonius back to the TARDIS and place him in stasis to aid in his regeneration.  Not soon after, the TARDIS crash lands and the fifth Stan appears in the console room with Stan!
